Steam. Our experienced crew is qualified to install steam tracing  to prevent such problems as freezing, changes in viscosity or vapor condensation in an insulated line. Steam tracing continues to be the most common method for most of our customers. Thermon steam tracing systems have a low installed cost compared to multiple bare tracers, “light” tracing with spacer blocks, or jacketed systems. “Thermonized” systems also provide predictable operations and maintenance that process plants demand.

Instrument Tubing. We expertly install all types of tubing, including stainless steel, copper and pre-insulated, ranging in size from ¼” OD to 1-1/4” OD and in wall thickness from .032” to .095”.

Tank Insulation System. Industrial Process Insulation’s panel insulation system is designed for large above-ground tanks that store materials sensitive to temperature fluctuations. The system consists of a composite panel created by laminating a metallic outer skin to thermal insulation. Adjacent panels are held together via a machine-formed weatherproof standing seam that extends the entire height of the tank, providing a durable finish with closed seams to prevent wind or rain from penetrating the seams.

Captured within the double-locking seam are retaining clips that attach the panels to steel cables securely wrapped around the tank circumference.

Specially formed insulation panels can also be installed on tank roofs.

Fabrication. Material fabrication is done on site in our 7400-square-foot, climate controlled shop. We produce to your specifications and comply with all codes, taking into consideration what is being insulated; operating temperature; nature of the process; appropriate thickness for the system, economics and personnel protection; and other criteria.
